Kongsberg NanoAvionics’ Business Development Team is seeking a new team member! We are looking for an individual who can take full responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Proactiveness, ownership, and a willingness to go the extra mile for the customers are key traits that will help overcome challenges and succeed in this role. Being a team player is essential, as the solutions provided by Kongsberg NanoAvionics are complex and require effective coordination with technical teams. Lastly, business trips will be a significant aspect of your role as a Business Development Manager – whether participating in industry events worldwide or organizing your own trips to visit customers for presentations and negotiations.

As a Business Development Manager you will:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities (growth areas, new markets, customers, trends).
  • Actively approach clients and build a solid sales pipeline.
  • Prepare and coordinate winning proposals for customers in response to RFPs/RFIs received from customers.
  • Present the company and its products to customers.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and finalize sales agreements with customers.
  • Participate in relevant industry exhibitions and conferences.
  • Maintain great relationships with customers and help support their business case and constellation plans.

We expect you to:

  • Have at least 3 years of experience in business development, working with technically complex engineering solutions.
  • Have experience in writing extensive proposals for complex solutions.
  • Take full ownership of your responsibilities with a goal and result-oriented mindset.
  • Be able to think strategically based on sales numbers and business needs.
  • Have strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • Have a flexible problem-solving approach with a strong attention to detail.
  • Be proactive and show a high interest in learning and continuous improvement.

Nice to have:

  • Previous sales experience in the Space or Aviation industries.
  • Previous experience working with governmental institutions, especially ESA/EC.
  • Fluency in other foreign languages.
  • Engineering background in the Space Industry.

SALARY:

  • Starting from 3000 – 3700 euros gross/ a month + bonuses
  • The final offer will depend on the level of competencies and experience
