We are looking for an engineer in the Quality Assurance team who will contribute to the environmental testing of various nanosats and subsystems. As a part of this team, you will learn from senior colleagues, who will share their knowledge and experience. You will help the team with satellite hardware testing before the satellite is launched to the orbit.

As  Enviromental Testing Engineer, you will: 

  • Organize and perform satellites testing in a TVAC (thermal vacuum chamber) 
  • Evaluate how equipment, sub-assemblies, and components will operate in space 
  • Design high quality and timely test cases 
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the testing processes and strategy 
  • Get an understanding of the satellite subsystem’s hardware and software functionalities. 
  • Analyze quality parameters 
  • Be identifying, analyzing, and reporting errors to the development teams 
  • Perform an environmental testings in our facility and in other countires 

We expect you to: 

  • Have a basic electronics knowledge 
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working with manual or automated testing processes and test tools 
  • Be able to see the bigger picture and navigate towards it 
  • Be result-oriented and proactive attitude, willingness to perform daily hands-on activities 
  • Be able to act and adapt in a fast-changing environment 
  • Have good English language knowledge (oral and written) 
  • Be able to work independently and escalate challenges if needed 
  • Have the possibility to travel  around the world and execute environmental tests in other service providers’ facilities 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Bug-intolerant, able to predict possible bugs 
  • Knowledge of how to work with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence/etc.) 
  • Basic programming/scripting knowledge (C++, C, C#, Python) 

Salary:

  • Starting from 2000 gross/per month
  • The final offer will depend based on the level of competencies and experience.
