As a Satellite Launch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of satellite launches, overseeing all aspects of the launch process from start to finish. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in ensuring timely, efficient satellite launch procurement processes.

As Launch Manager you will:

Lead and manage satellite launch projects, including pre-launch document preparations, launch procurement, assistance with logistics operations and timeslot booking.
Maintain good relationships with our launch providers.
Develop comprehensive launch plans, considering factors such as mission requirements, launch vehicle selection, and launch windows.
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and launch service providers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of satellite systems, launch vehicles, and ground infrastructure.
Help to ensure compliance with all relevant national and international regulations and licensing requirements pertaining to satellite launches and space activities.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in satellite launch vehicles and launch services to provide expert guidance and support in the decision-making process.
Oversee and coordinate the entire logistics process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations from origin to destination.
Manage relationships with external vendors, including freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers, to negotiate contracts and maintain high service standards.
Continuously analyze and improve logistics processes, identifying areas for optimization, automation, and cost reduction.
Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays, exceptions, or issues that may arise, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Stay up to date with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance standards to ensure legal and compliant operations.

We expect you to:

Have project management experience and skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
Act as the owner of the company’s launch procurement and management.
Have problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Be a quick-thinker, well-focused, sometimes tough and a little pedantic.
Have a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Nice to have:

Experience working with Excel, ERP system, Jira.
Experience with international regulations or standards.
Experience in negotiations.

Salary:

Starting from 1900 eur gross/month
The final offer will depend based on the level of competencies and experience
