Mechanical design team is looking for a curious and motivated Mechanical QA Engineer who will be responsible for the quality assurance of the design and development of nano and micro satellites. 

As Mechanical QA Engineer you will: 

  • Work on machined parts and subsystems quality inspection and control 
  • Work on the spacecraft handling equipment conceptual design 
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the testing processes and strategy 
  • Maintain quality documents 
  • Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers 

We expect you to:  

  • Have a passion for space engineering and a desire to learn fast 
  • Have a degree in mechanical/mechatronics/aerospace engineering or equivalent 
  • Have a good understanding of machine elements, materials engineering, manufacturing technology, mechanics of materials 
  • Having expertise or familiarity with handling measuring instruments like Vernier caliper, Height gauge, Micrometer, Radius Gauge, Go-No Go Gauge, Thread Gauge, Slip Gauges, Profile projector, Hardness Tester- etc. 
  • Have experience with 2D engineering drawings and good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)   
  • Be result-oriented and proactive attitude, willingness to perform daily hands-on activities 
  • Have an advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Have good English language skills (at least B1) 
  • Enjoy working in a team and independently 

Nice to have: 

  • Work/internship experience in precision manufacturing industry 
  • Experience in 3D design and modelling 
  • Experience in any file management software 
  • Experience or familiarity with drawing standards 
  • Hobby/personal technical project experience
