NanoAvionics US, located in Columbia (IL) is scaling and looking to build up a strong team of mechanical, aerospace, electronics, systems and software engineers to shake up the New Space industry in North America with our pre-configured nano-satellite buses.

We are looking for broad capabilities in engineering staff as we grow from a small organization and expect that the staff will specialize more in the future as they find, develop and demonstrate their skills within different phases of the business including pursuit, proposal, system/satellite design and trades, product design, test, launch, mission operations, and more. We offer open positions for entry level full-time staff as well as summer interns willing to gain valuable experience in satellite mission development for commercial clients as well as NASA, MIT and other organizations.  Compensation for permanent staff will include salary, health care and retirement matching.

NanoAvionics is a nanosatellite bus manufacturer and mission integrator currently based in four locations – Columbia (US), Midland (US), Vilnius (Lithuania), and Oxfordshire (UK). Our flagship multi-purpose M6P, M12P and M16P are the first preconfigured nanosatellite buses in the sector, designed to serve emerging commercial space markets. Our company’s efforts are focused on enabling critical satellite functions and optimizing their launch, hardware and operation costs – ranging from single missions to constellations.

Requirements:

  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Engineering Degree in any of the disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Electronical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering.
  • Experience in CubeSat/nanosat programs at University or work experience in the field
