Kongsberg NanoAvionics Product Engineering team is looking for a new member to develop in-house and integrate 3rd party subsystems into satellite platforms. You will be an essential part of a project team throughout whole product development lifecycle. And then you’ll get to see your creations launched into space. If you have experience in developing systems/products, communication skills, and a technical background, we want to hear from you.

As Product Engineer, you will:

  • Lead technical aspects of product development
  • Define product requirements and architecture
  • Design, develop, integrate, and test products and coordinate such cross-disciplinary project team activities
  • Identify and address technical challenges that arise during the development process
  • Foster a collaborative, open, and trust-based culture within the project team.
  • Engage stakeholders to secure necessary resources or inputs for successful project delivery
  • Maintain comprehensive, organized, and accessible product documentation
  • Plan product feature development based on deficiencies, desired changes, market needs
  • Seek innovative solutions for satellite and subsystem functions
  • Consult product users on issues related to product functions, performance, and reliability

We expect you to have:

  • Proven experience in developing a system/product
  • Ability of making progress based on calculated risk even when things are ambiguous
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • At least 3 years of experience in Engineering roles
  • A technical background with at least Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related field

 Nice to have: 

  • Knowledge of Power electronics
  • Knowledge and experience of Requirements Management
  • Familiarity of ECSS standards
  • Experience in Space, Automotive, or Medical industries

Salary

  • Salary starts from 3400 to 4900 gross/per month
  • The final offer will depend on the level of competencies and experience
