Join the NanoAvionics Procurement department and be a part of the new space team! NanoAvionics is looking for a thorough, responsible, and detail-oriented colleague who will take care of every day procurement needs. This role consists of sourcing, negotiating and buying various components, materials, services used for satellite production in order to meet the company’s operational requirements. In this role you will deal with costs, quality and delivery times of goods to ensure continuity of supply chain.

As a Purchasing Manager you will:

Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships by partnering and showing professional and consistent approach towards communication to create reliable supply chain
Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified costs, quality and delivery target dates
Support procurement and other relevant departments by communicating and helping to solve supply, delivery and quality challenges which may impact ongoing projects
Work closely with other colleagues in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements
Analyze purchasing costs, negotiate contracts, review prices and terms with suppliers by monitoring market trends, analyzing competitor strategies and market suppliers
Implement best procurement practices and methods in place

We expect you to have:

Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with colleagues and suppliers
Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities
Good time management and task prioritizing skills to achieve set targets
Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the production and project fulfilment
Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations
Strong attention to details and high sense of responsibility
Good verbal and written English skills
Familiarity with an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system would be beneficial

SALARY

Salary starts from 2000 gross/per month
The final offer will depend based on the level of competencies and experience
