Kongsberg NanoAvionics UAB is looking for a Health and Safety Officer to take care of the company’s occupational health and safety and fire safety issues in its offices in Lithuania (in Vilnius and in Kaunas). As the Health and Safety Specialist you will:

Maintain company documentation on occupational health and safety (OHS) and fire safety (FS) issues;
Monitor, analyse and adapt to the company’s newly adopted national normative legal acts on OSH and H&S issues, as well as their amendments and additions and repeals;
Instructing the company’s employees on occupational health, safety and fire safety issues;
Monitor compliance with the requirements of the normative legislation on occupational safety, health and fire safety;
Organise and/or carry out training of employees in occupational safety, health, fire safety and electrical safety;
Organise health checks on employees;
Organise the preparation of measures for the prevention of accidents at work and occupational diseases, register and investigate accidents at work and occupational diseases within the scope of its competence, analyse the circumstances and causes of accidents at work, occupational diseases and incidents, and propose preventive measures to avoid them;
Supervise the proper marking of company premises;
Maintain and update the list of protective equipment (PPE) to be issued to workers and update the procedures for issuing and accepting PPE.

We expect you to:

Be able to work with Microsoft Office applications;
Be able to speak and write in English;
Have at least 2 years of experience in labour and fire safety organisation;
Be familiar with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, Government Decrees and other legal acts regulating occupational safety and health, accident investigation and record-keeping procedures, fire safety, labour law;
Hold a certificate in occupational safety and fire safety.

Be able to work independently and as part of a team;
Have experience in a manufacturing and/or technology company;
Have great communication, planning and organisational skills;
Be observant and responsible.

Salary:

From 1000 to 1500 eur gross per month;
The final offer will depend based on the level of competencies and experience.
