Software Field Application Engineer would be in unique position to work with multiple teams in Software Department such as Mission Control Software, Flight Software, Attitude Determination and Control, Satellite Operations and help other departments such as Project Engineering and System Engineering. It would allow you to get a high level of understanding of how software gets and works in space. Sharing knowledge with other teams and clients would be your daily tasks. 

As a Software Field Application Engineer, you will: 

  • Analyze requirements and link them with existing features / configurations. If feature does not exist – talk with R&D teams and initiate design activities 
  • Prepare software configurations for each project based on requirements 
  • Support Project Engineers, other teams (e.g. operations) or clients on software usage questions / issues 
  • Participate in technical meetings with clients assisting, explaining our software capabilities and features, performing demos 
  • Perform software trainings for clients 
  • Contribute to training material and software documentation 
  • Coordinate support activities with R&D teams, identify main issues and communicate feedback on industry trends 
  • Manage and update database for mission / customer information 

We expect you to: 

  • Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. 
  • Be familiar with software-as-a-product and experience in working with software solutions. 
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability. 
  • Great communication skills and client-oriented attitude. 
  • Be fluent in English and excellent at written and verbal communication. 


Nice to have:

  • Be familiar with embedded software. 
  • Be familiar with cloud backend software. 
  • General understanding of electronics, physics, or space industry. 
  • Experience using Jira. 


  • Starts from: 2000 eur/gross
  • The final offer will depend based on the level of competencies and experience
