Our Product Development team is looking for an AOCS Product Engineer to shape the future of our spacecraft control systemsIn this position, you will work with AOCS experts, architects, and crossdisciplinary teams to lead AOCS development, translate mission needs into technical requirements, and guide products from concept through integration, testing, and delivery. If you thrive in an environment where curiosity, ownership and solving complex engineering challenges come together to define the next generation of satellite AOCS capabilitieswe’d love to hear from you.

As AOCS Product Engineer, you will:

  • Lead AOCS development together with AOCS Technical Lead, Architect and Developers ensuring timely and quality delivery within budget 
  • Define needs / requirements to AOCS system 
  • Design, develop, integrate, and test products and coordinate such cross-disciplinary project team activities 
  • Identify and address technical challenges that arise during the development process 
  • Foster a collaborative, open, and trust-based culture within the project team 
  • Engage stakeholders to secure necessary resources or inputs for successful project delivery 
  • Engage with external parties – suppliers, ESA, customers 
  • Maintain comprehensive, organized, and accessible product documentation 
  • Develop R&D roadmap for future AOCS developments 
  • Plan product feature development based on deficiencies, desired changes, market needs 
  • Seek innovative solutions for satellite and subsystem functions 
  • Consult product users on issues related to product functions, performance, and reliability 

We expect you to have:

  • Proven experience in developing a system/product/software 
  • Knowledge of attitude and orbit determination and control systems 
  • Ability of making progress based on calculated risk even when things are ambiguous 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • At least 3 years of experience in Engineering roles 
  • A technical background with at least Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Physics 
  • Fluent English

Nice to have: 

  • Knowledge and experience of Requirements Management 
  • Familiarity of ECSS standards 
  • Experience in Space or Aviation industries 

Salary

  • Salary starts from £55 to 67K per year
  • The final offer will depend on the level of competencies and experience
