The Supply Chain team is looking for a thorough, responsible, and detail-oriented colleague to join our satellite technology organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for daily procurement of EMS services and electronic components. You will be a key partner to the production, project management and R&D teams by planning, coordinating and executing daily activities of the nominated category.

As a Purchasing manager, you will:

  • Manage procurement of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and electronic components, ensuring compliance with quality, cost and delivery requirements
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with EMS providers and component suppliers
  • Run purchasing processes, supplier negotiations and commercial discussions to secure the best overall value
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments and capacity constraints
  • Forecast material demand and manage inventory levels of dedicated category
  • Create, maintain and administer purchase orders and subcontracting processes within the ERP system
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production and Project Management to support ongoing manufacturing activities
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures and documentation requirements
  • Monitor market trends, lead times, pricing and technology developments within the EMS and electronics industry
  • Provide stakeholders with clear visibility on supply opportunities, risks and constraints

We expect you to have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in EMS procurement, electronics component sourcing, supply chain management or electronics manufacturing
  • Experience working with suppliers, purchase orders and procurement processes
  • Strong planning skills
  • Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Salary

  • Salary starts from 2600 to 3200 eur gross/per month
  • The final offer will depend on the level of competencies and experience
