Space is hard. Failure is expensive. And “oops” isn’t a recovery strategy.

Are you ready to ensure that every satellite we build meets the highest quality and reliability requirements? Do you have that rare superpower of spotting flaws others miss — and the backbone to say, “hey, this needs fixing” (with data to back it up)? We’re looking for a Product Assurance Engineer to join our team and support satellite development from project initiation to delivery. You’ll be involved from day one to delivery: ensuring compliance with ECSS, ISO, and project requirements; driving risk mitigation; owning design reviews; and making continuous improvement part of the mission.

This isn’t just box-ticking. It’s mission assurance. Let’s get it right — every time.

As Product Assurance Engineer, you will:

  • Ensure Compliance with Project Requirements and Quality Standards: Oversee the implementation of product assurance requirements in accordance with project requirements, ECSS, ISO 9001, or similar aerospace standards. Integrate PA requirements from project initiation to delivery, including design reviews, test planning, and validation activities, while ensuring alignment with overall project goals
  • Develop and Maintain PA Plans: Create and manage Product Assurance (PA) and Quality Assurance (QA) plans throughout the satellite development lifecycle, ensuring balance between timeline and budget
  • Utilize hands-on experience in Space PA/Quality Assurance to oversee PA activities across multiple project teams, ensuring efficient and effective implementation
  • Reliability Engineering Support: Contribute to reliability analyses (e.g., FMEA, FMECA, RBD) and support the definition of reliability budgets, derating, and component stress evaluations to ensure mission-critical performance
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and monitor technical, quality, and reliability-related risks. Drive mitigation strategies in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Supplier Quality and Reliability Assurance: Evaluate and monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with technical, PA, and reliability requirements
  • Non-Conformance Management: Lead investigations of non-conformances and anomalies, ensure root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Configuration and Documentation Control: Ensure correct implementation of configuration management and maintain traceability of components and processes
  • Process Assurance: Verify and audit manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test (AIT) processes to ensure they meet quality and reliability standards
  • Material and Process Selection: Contribute to materials, parts, and processes used in satellite design and manufacture review, ensuring they are space-qualified and reliable over mission life
  • Support Reviews and Audits: Participate in and support major project reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR, QR, TRR) and internal/external quality and reliability audits
  • Customer Interface: Act as the main point of contact for quality, reliability, and product assurance topics with clients, regulatory bodies (e.g., ESA), and internal stakeholders
  • Document, analyze, and continuously improve company processes by comparing them to industry standards, driving PA activities forward while considering real-world applications for New Space
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, working closely with engineering, quality control, and project management to align PA requirements with project objectives

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Aerospace, Electronics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
  • Proven experience in product assurance roles in aerospace, satellite, or high-reliability sectors, with a strong track record in managing customer-driven PA processes
  • Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation activities
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess project risks and develop adaptable PA solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills, guiding cross-functional teams toward quality and assurance goals

Salary

  • Salary starts from 3000 to 4200gross/per month
  • The final offer will depend on the level of competencies and experience
