Would you like to take a software engineer role working with digital solutions that aim to improve the safety, efficiency, and security of maritime transportation and its infrastructure? Then we hope that you will join Kongsberg NanoAvionics UAB to work with KONGSBERG NORCONTROL AS – Horten, which is one of Kongsberg Group companies.

 

KONGSBERG NORCONTROL platform autonomously collects real-time sensor data from ship traffic and the surrounding environment to provide accurate information to the decision support systems used by the authorities.

 

We are looking for a C++ developer who enjoys working with complex systems in an Agile working process. You will have the role of software developer. You will work closely with the Team Lead and the development team including testers.

As Maritime Surveillance Systems Developer you will:

  • Be part of an international company with a strong position within the Maritime sector
  • Develop in C++ targeting our main product for maritime surveillance

We expect you to:

  • Have at least 3 years of experience in Software Engineering working with C++
  • Have bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Be genuinely interested in software development and experienced within the technologies mentioned above
  • Have great communication skills in English both written and oral
  • Be responsible, attentive to details and have result-oriented attitude

Nice to have:

  • Experience in UI design and development (Qt or similar)
  • Experience in development for the Windows platform
  • Experience with web sockets

Salary:

  •  2300-4500 euros gross/a month
  • The final offer will depend on the level of competencies and experience
