Kongsberg NanoAvionics is a leading small satellite manufacturer and mission integrator serving commercial, civil, and defense customers worldwide. With more than 100 successful satellite missions and projects delivered, we help customers turn ambitious space missions into operational reality. Our partners include NASA, ESA, Thales, and other leaders across the global space industry.
We are looking for a Sales Systems Engineer to join our growing U.S. team and lead the early technical shaping of customer missions and satellite solutions for the U.S. market. This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys working from ambiguity, engaging directly with customers, and helping build local capability in a fast-moving organization. You will translate mission needs into technically sound, feasible, and commercially credible satellite solutions while working closely with business development, mission analysis, product, and engineering teams.
Approximately 80% of your time will focus on customer-facing solution concept development for new opportunities, including mission analysis, technical budgeting, system architecture, work package definition, and non-recurring engineering estimation. The remaining portion of your time will support selected internal engineering priorities and project work where your systems perspective can strengthen execution across the U.S. team.
