We are looking for a Satellite Test Engineer who will contribute to the testing of various nanosats and microsats. As a part of this team, you will be responsible for the hardware testing before the product’s release. As we say… One mistake, and you have a brick in space. Not scared? Let’s rocket quality standards to the sky (literally). 

As Satellite Test Engineer , you will:

  • Design and execute high-quality and timely test cases
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the testing processes and strategy
  • Develop an understanding of satellite subsystems’ hardware and software functionalities. You will be able to consult colleagues on various technical questions
  • Perform hands-on testing of satellite system
  • Record quality parameters and findings during testing activities
  • Identify, analyze, and report nonconformances to the development teams

We expect you to have:

  • Have a basic electronics knowledge
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working with manual or automated testing processes and test tools
  • Be able to see the bigger picture and navigate towards it
  • Be result-oriented and proactive attitude, willingness to perform daily hands-on activities
  • Be able to act and adapt in a fast-changing environment
  • Have good English language knowledge (oral and written)
  • Be able to work independently and escalate challenges if needed

Nice to have:

  • Bug-intolerant, able to predict possible bugs 
  • Knowledge of how to work with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence/etc.) 
  • Programming knowledge (TestStand, Python) 

Salary

  • Salary starts from 2300 to 3100 gross/ per month
  • The final offer will depend on the level of competencies and experience
