We are looking for a Satellite Test Engineer who will contribute to the testing of various nanosats and microsats. As a part of this team, you will be responsible for the hardware testing before the product’s release. As we say… One mistake, and you have a brick in space. Not scared? As Satellite Test Engineer , you will:

Design and execute high-quality and timely test cases
Contribute to the development and improvement of the testing processes and strategy
Develop an understanding of satellite subsystems’ hardware and software functionalities. You will be able to consult colleagues on various technical questions
Perform hands-on testing of satellite system
Record quality parameters and findings during testing activities
Identify, analyze, and report nonconformances to the development teams

We expect you to have:

Have a basic electronics knowledge
Have at least 1 year of experience working with manual or automated testing processes and test tools
Be able to see the bigger picture and navigate towards it
Be result-oriented and proactive attitude, willingness to perform daily hands-on activities
Be able to act and adapt in a fast-changing environment
Have good English language knowledge (oral and written)
Be able to work independently and escalate challenges if needed

Nice to have:

Bug-intolerant, able to predict possible bugs
Knowledge of how to work with Atlassian products (Jira/Confluence/etc.)
Programming knowledge (TestStand, Python)

Salary

Salary starts from 2300 to 3100 gross/ per month
The final offer will depend on the level of competencies and experience
