The environmental management system (EMS) designed, implemented, and maintained by Kongsberg NanoAvionics has been assessed and found to meet the requirements of the standard ISO 14001:2015 / (LST EN ISO 14001:2015).

Kongsberg NanoAvionics’ ISO 14001:2015 certification is valid for the following scope of operations:

Activities related to designing, manufacturing, sale and re-sale of satellites, including satellite platforms, subsystems and satellite components, and any other business activities directly related to designing, manufacturing, sale and re-sale of satellites; brokerage of satellite launch services; satellite operations services.

Environmental Policy

The Kongsberg NanoAvionics is committed to protecting the local and global environment by integrating

• Commit senior management to embedding environmental protection within the company’s culture and ensuring its influence extends to suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Prevent pollution, reduce waste, and optimize resource use by actively managing environmental risks and promoting responsible consumption.
• Consider the global impact of our activities, including those of our suppliers, customers, and stakeholders, with an emphasis on sustainability across the entire lifecycle.
• Educate, train, and motivate employees to work in an environmentally responsible manner, ensuring continuous professional development aligns with sustainability goals.
• Encourage environmental protection among suppliers and subcontractors, fostering sustainable practices throughout our supply chain.
• Investigate the feasibility of influencing suppliers, customers, and third parties by considering the lifecycle impacts of their activities and decisions.
